And if they're in charge of the games, they're in charge of the level design. They're failing in 3D and 2D departments. D=

As far as I remember, it was Sonic Team who made all of these crappy Sonic games, so the fault should be more for Sonic Team.
But really, don't you think that there might be more to it than what it seems? Sure, Sonic Team may make the games, but what about SEGA? When haven't really heard the truth about their side

Lets see you make a game/level for thousands of different people. Some will like it. (Bootleg Sonic Aventure/Sonic Next-Gen) and some people won't

Sega has a fault in here actually. Sega choosed people who doesn't have enough skills for doing Sonic games, may I remind you that the old Sonic Team people has the same live period than everyone else. But still, the big fault goes to Sonic Team. But, I think, Sonic Unleashed will be good, but I have to wait for a review of it.

WRONG, they had the skills to make it but they rushed it to much and ended up releasing a version which ended up looking like the beta version of the game rather than the finished version.

AKA sega needs to learn about delays.

I'm agreeding with you, Sega can't just say that a game date will be delayed, unless the new Sonic Team makes and test correctly and as fast as Sonic, the only good Sonic game in 2008 was Sonic Chronicles (it's surprising that the only good Next-Gen Sonic games are for the DS and only for the DS). But, it doesn't mean that I already hate this game, I'm looking forward to it.

IIRC, Sammy bought SEGA, and since Sammy wanted to get the Sonic games out before the holidays, hell ensued.

Not sure how things are doing with that whole relationship thing at the moment. Considering the hedgehog engine was kept secret for three years and had to be leaked in order for people to actually know it existed, I'd say the development team has been pretty cautious with this, even with the whole werewolf twist.

Judging by the Wii trailer that I'm pretty sure was posted here earlier, it looks like Daytime is going to play an awful lot like Sonic Rush. I'm not sure if it will have the depth of Sonic and the Secret Rings, but it looks like it has the potential to make up for it in the werewolf stage (and the bits shown in the trailer look very promising).

I'm afraid that some of those those looking for the definitive platforming experience will also be the ones trying to ignore the wolf aspect of it... so I think that even if the game does turn out to be solid in both versions, there will be plenty of purists who will hate it because there isn't any platforming and they refuse to consider the were-hog levels.

That's exactly right JEV3. I had to tell someone off because of that. I kept bringing up the Were-hog/wolf gameplay

If you think about it, Were-Hog should hopefully play like a slowed down platformer itself, because I can imagine the player needing to make timed jumps, and things sort of like a dumbed-down classic Tomb Raider.

Im worried that all the enemies in the werehog levels might get annoying...

I'm worried that the constant hack n' slash gameplay will get repetitive.

I'm hoping that the combat will be deep with grab moves and many different takedowns to enhance the gameplay...

The music on the website's main page is absolutely awesome. Orchestral, not funk. Just awesome.
