guys... you can literally just download the iso and the dlc packs off of the internet archive, for free. you don't need an actual xbox 360 copy to play it.

like I said it's easy to dump the game with a USB, as for the DLC you have to buy it prior to the closing of the store so I don't know how many people will do this other than for the base game.

The recompilation seems to work very well so far, finally a way to play Unleashed in a modern fashion that I've desperately wanted for a while now. But even better is them releasing the work for this that could serve as a basis for porting of other 360 games to the PC proper.

Just a heads up that Unleashed Recompiled has Hedge Mod Manager support and a dedicated Gamebanana page.

I'd also like to report that mods from the old page also generally seem to work, though be warned that results will vary.

crazy thing about this is they released a tool to recompile other 360 games, meaning even more console-locked games can get pc ports now.

i'd kill for pc ports of games like the Skylanders series or Fable 2

Just beated this port and it was fun (surprisingly Jungle Joyride did not drop frames as hard as i thought, Eggmanland loading times sucked at 720p)

The original PC port of Generations is still available, just not as a standalone purchase anymore. If you already have the other games in the bundle you can buy the bundle and pay for just Generations, but otherwise it might be a bit pricey.

exactly, i dont have a single game in steam, and as i live in Brazil the package costs basically a monthly minimum wage

If you wait for a sale the price of the bundle could drop dramatically. Sonic Adventure DX in particular is known to occasionally drop down to dirt cheap, which combined with the other games in the bundle also dropping in price could add up to some pretty significant savings. You could also grab the individual games standalone when you can afford them to gradually chip away at the bundle's price.
