So it's that time of year again: Easter. I remember back then you guys used to do Easter egg hunts in the game. Can you guys do that again this year? I missed out on it last time.

The easter egg hunts were replaced by the five hidden emblems in every stage. It turned from a silly little thing into an official part of the game.

The spirit of the easter egg hunt was replaced by 2.1's emblems. The character-specific emblems... weren't really the same.

I remember being younger and finding myself wondering what kind of mechanism did they used to switch to easter egg mode without needing any updates or something... I think it has to do with the date displayed on the computer, am I right?

It's based on your system clock. If it's set to any date in April, the easter eggs will appear.
