Right. But I think it would be etter if we made our own wad of textures, so we don't have to go texture replacing and ruin everything. Plus, it would keep all the original textures in place, so more variety of textures

I don't think the textures look too bad. It would be enjoyable still.
the wall looks repetitive, but everything else looks good

The size is normal... The thing that happens is that DOOM engines do tiles, while standard 3D engines do strecth.

Okay, since noone has seemed to post in awhile, I'll go ahead and post an update:

The new SRB2DX Sonic character WAD is almost complete

Bayside Beach has to be redone completly

The idea I came up with for the Training Zone, I have canned it (I got over the idea of wireframe levels a long time ago, I just forgot to update about that.)

Sik has joined the team for Music remixing/production.

http://www.sepwich.com/mfgr/srb2dx/ is the website, just incase some didn't know. Don't forget to add "forums/" to that url to goto the forums!

I remember posting here a long time ago about having this project join up with Blaze's project "SASRB2" (And I also remember it failing miserably. =P) But I can sorta see why now: What Blaze is doing is putting the Sonic Adventure in SRB2 while this here is putting the SRB2 in Sonic Adventure. Levels that remind people of Sonic Adventure's levels (Can't wait for the Windy Valley one!), sprites that remind people of the animations in Sonic Adventure (Look at JetKrazy's avatar for heven's sake) and a bit more I suppose. *Doesn't know THAT much about it* You might wanna actually add content to the site before making it public, I got plenty of 404 errors clicking on the menu. =P Until then, post news here and in those forums and just make the forums public. But that's just a suggestion. Anyways, it's looking good now, Blaze actually has competition. =P Good luck on it, I hope this becomes big some day! If you need assistance in this project, I'm always open to help.

Actually, Blaze is putting more Sonic Heroes and Adventure 2 into SRB2 while we're putting in only Adventure 1

Yep. My avatar is a preview of the sonic model that will be used in SRB2DX. There will also be a tails model. We are also working on textures, level design, etc. to make this look more like DX

Yeah, we're working on the content. Hopefully we'll have downloads up soon.

And I too hope it becomes something big

Well, most positions are already filled, but if you can get us some textures, that'd be great

Sonic is done. *Runs Away*

Not to be a spoilsport but the walking and running animations are quite screwed. The head looks awful when you're walking, bobbing around unrealisticaly. And, not to be rude, but the running animations sorta...suck.

The body does not move realistically, pay careful attention to the actual SADX model and look how Sonic runs. The arms are too close togehter, the body is too static and there are a few other things as well. Also, the diagonle(Ergh, sp) sprites have weird looking quills.
