Something Strange about DRRR

tha men with gun

i have your ip adress
ive been wanting to make a thread about this for a while now about the DERANGED AMOUNT OF SHIT IN DRRR That looks like something from srb2 (and things that are in drrr that i would like to see in srb2) like.. who had the idea to put those secret mystic melody shit, who thinked it was a good idea to put collectable spray paints? And put them in such strange places thats something that dont fit in a racing game in any way.... but suspiciously would fit sooo freaking well in a platformer like srb2.. You get what im saying?... And now onto things that Should be in srb2.. well first of all, the fact that drrr DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT STAYING IN CLASSIC STYLE i love sooooooooooo much that the game dont give a shit about being on classic style. Shit it even dont care about being on the sonic ip it just has like anime characters and chars from other sega ips like what if in srb2 instead of anime it was sonic ocs and other mods! welp that goes so well with my other point that is that drrr EMBRACES THE MODS into it some examples: pets- (i would write more on this but its late at night on my country sooo im gonna just end it here but it has enough amount of points to i send this)

Hi, it was my idea, and I still think it's a good idea!

Why? Because it was one of the things I found the most fun as a kid!
Diddy Kong Racing was one of the most memorable experiences I had with a kart racer growing up -- using vehicles to navigate around the hubs and find secrets was something I had a lot of fun doing.

CTR and its token challenges appealed to me a lot as a kid, too -- seeing collectibles high up in out of the way locations and thinking "wow, how do I ever get up there?"

I played a lot of Toy Commander on Dreamcast, too -- a game that forced the player to think like it was a platformer while being bound to vehicle controls.

Hiding collectables all over (spray cans, mystic melody shrines, etc) was probably one of the most exciting steps about DRRR's development to me, because it appeals to me a lot; that's the kind of bonus content I want in a racer. I know it ticks the right boxes for other people out there as well. :)
