SOCK GET?

I need help.

I wanted to play a net game and whenever I start the offline game up(MS is down right now) I get "sock get error" and i already tried reinstalling srb2, and when i join someone elses game(with ip) i get a similar error.

What the hell is going on?

Yes I was having major Internet problems, until I got a new modem in the mail out of nowhere, true story.
