SOC Editing Guides

I've ventured into the realm of SOC edits and there's no going back. :o

So I'm looking for any helpful tutorials or even references to get me started. Is there any, or should I (or do I have to) start SOC editing another way? I'm looking for a way that can ease me into it, thanks.

It's not perfect, but you can read the created SOC via notepad.

Thing is, it doesn't put in comments so you don't know which is which. :P Besides, what about the more complex things? i know SASRB2 had comments telling you how to make a Red Crawla shoot. :P
