SOC Editing guide?

Is there an SOC editing guide somewhere? I looked on the forums and there isn't one. Where can I find it?

Not exactly a guide, but it looks pretty useful and simple, and it should put you on the right track.

I started on a SOC editing program, but haven't finished it.
