Not sure if this is the right forum to put this in, so move this if this isn't the right forum.

Without futher ado...

W = Move North/Up
S = Move South/Down
A = Strafe Left
D = Strafe Right
SPACE BAR = Jump
MOUSE1 = Ring Toss
MOUSE2 = Ring Toss Normal
MOUSE3 = Spin Dash
And MOUSELOOK to view and turn(turn MOUSESPEED high up).

I just started using this setup a few days ago after Mystic told me his setup(mines now the same as Mystic's, but with MOUSE3 for Spin Dash instead of F).

You're good. Just having the ability to change up your configuration is amazing to me. I've been using the same configuration for my computer (Emulaation, PC games, Web/Flash games etc...) for the passed 9 years. I couldn't master any other controls if I tried...

I think there was already a topic on this.
Anyway...

Mouse- Aiming and turning
MOUSE1- Fire
MOUSE2- Secondary fire
MOUSE3- Jump
Shift- Spindash
Arrowkeys- Move forward, backwards, and strafe

And with the power of AutoExec.cfg, my keypad controls the camera.

4/6- Rotate left/right
2- Turn on Chasecam
8- Turn off chasecam
5- Completely reset camera (Distance, rotation, ect.)

I don't like strafing so:

up: forward
down: back
left: left
right: right
spacebar: jump/home
ctrl: spin/lightdash
v: fire key
b: normal fire
v and b: taunt
c: center camera

Arrow keys: Up/Down/Left/Right.
Jump: Z, and MOUSE2 (Right button)
Spin: X, and WHEEL 1 DOWN.
FIRE!: MOUSE1.
FIRE! (Normal): WHEEL 1 UP.
Strafe: MOUSE3 (The wheel pressed down) and C.
Lightdash/flagdrop: Shift.
Talk: Space.
Console: Key96. (¬ for england, ~ for america.)
And numerous keybinds for the 1-9 keys.

i use the "CS_1.6" control:

w = go
s = moon walk
a and d = sidesteps
e = jump
q = roll
enter = talk
mouse =shot and "Mouselook"

Walter

Up/down/left/right

Z: Ring toss
Shift: Spin
Space bar: Jump
I dunno how to strafe.
Control: Lightdash

Joypad...(which is why I'm one of the best srb2ers when I want to be ;P)

other controls:
MOUSE1: mouselook
MOUSE2: ring toss

Joypad too. I use a PSX controller. :P

Left Analog Stick: Move
Right Analog Stick: Look up and down
X Button: Jump
Square Button: Spin
L1 + R1: Strafe
L2 + R2: Ring Toss
Start: Rankings :P

I think Triangle is light dash or some other garbage. I also push the left analog stick in to reset my camera. Very handy. Otherwise, I always have mouselook on with the left button for fire and the right button for normal fire.

Move up = arrow up
move down = arrow down
look right = arrow right
look left = arrow left
jump = space
spindash = control
lightdash = shift
ring toss = alt or MOUSE1
ring toss normal = b or MOUSE2
console = ~
status = 1
taunt = 2
talk key = enter
camera left = o
camera right = p
strafe = . or ,
reset cam = /
look up = mouse or ]
look down = mouse or '
center cam = c or f

I'm really used to this control, and I can hardly do without it. It sorta sucks in match, though. I'm really bad in melee match with this control.....

Okie, well the nice thing is I have 2 sets of controls which I can alternate between anytime I want:

Set 1: "Third Person" (most used)

Arrows: Move
A: Jump
S: Ring Shoot
D: Spin
F: Special Ring Shoot
Z: Taunt
X: Lightdash
T: Talk
C: Cam Reset (I dont even use it really)
O,P: Cam Left/Right (not used much, usually screw me up if I try typing and I accidentally dont hit "t"
Page Up: Look up (Dont use)
Page Down: Look Down (Dont use)
End: Cam View
Tab: Rankings
Key 96: Console

Set 2: "First Person"

W,A: Forwards/Backwards
A,D: Strafe
Mouse: Aim/Turn
Mouse 1: Jump
Mouse 2: Ring Shoot
Mouse 3: Cam Reset
Wheel Up: Special Ring Shoot
Wheel Down: Spin
X: Lightdash (Dont use in this mode)
Z: Taunt: (Same as X)
T: Talk
PG UP/Down: Look Up/Down (Same as aboves)
Cam Left/Right: O,P
Tab: Rankings
Key 96: Console

I think that is all of the controls, even the ones I dont use :roll:

WASD = Forward, Backpedal, and Strafe Left/Right
Space Bar = Jump
F = Spin
Mouse1 = Fire
Mouse2 = Secondary Fire
Mouse3 = Mouselook (Reminder: Hitting the mouselook key while mouselook is always on will put you back at horizontal view, so you can hold the mouselook key to look straight forward, which is rather helpful)
Z = Chasecam off/mouselook on
X = Chasecam on/mouselook off
Tab = Rankings

Basicially, ESDF+Mouse. It's WASD, only one key over, I don't know why I play like this, I just do.
Mouse 1: Jump
Mouse 2: Spin
Mouse 3: Ring Toss

Forward: W
Backward: S
Turn Left: A
Turn Right: D
Strafe Left: Q
Strafe Right: E
Jump: Shift
Ringtoss: Left Mouse Button
Ringtoss Normal: Ctrl/Caps Lock
Mouselook: Right Mouse Button
Talk: Space Bar
Rankings: Tab
Spin: Z

Bah, I knew there would be a wealth of <strikeout>n00bs</strikeout> that used the default control scheme. Here's mine, a standard FPS affair:

Mouse Movement - Turn Left/Right / Mouselook

W - Forward
S - Backpedal
A/D - Strafe Left/Right

Space/Left Mouse Button - Jump
Right Mouse Button - Shoot
Middle Mouse Button - Shoot Normal
Thumb Mouse Button - Spin
Mousewheel Down - Lightdash/Drop Flag (Was originally set to same button as Spindash, but when Lightdash became the Drop Flag action too, I had to change it)
