SLADE Issue

I have an issue when using SLADE to make a character, when I add the sprites, some sprites have the same name and SLADE automatically adds "(1)" to the end of the sprites, does anyone know how to fix this? (this is my first thread so I apologize for anything I might have done wrong)

change the name of the sprites (change one sprite's name so it doesn't add (1))

I tried that but SLADE puts it back

nvm I figured it out myself, I just downloaded an older version of SLADE and now it works
