What does a skim do? I saw it in the enemies catagory of Things on WA.. I tried it and the game crashed.

I think skim activates when you run over water with tails

The Skim is an enemy that skims across the top of the water and drops bombs on you if you are below it (Kinda like the Jetty-Syn Bomber). It's broken in 1.08 though, the game will crash if you load a level with one of them in it.

Not if you put it in a water sector.
It does crash if you get hit by the bombs that it drops.

That's because they aren't in the official levels because they're broken. Partly. To quote Steve Irwin, "Aw! Crikey! You don't want to get tagged by that one, Mate!"

Try a skim in Xmas 0.93. They're pretty old.
