Question: Why is he only facing one direction? There’s a ton of mods that are pretty good but get dragged down due to the fact that they don’t utilize all eight angles

Because he's made out of paper lol

Even then, he could attempt to replicate Paper Mario’s movements where he has 4-6 angles depending on what action he makes

Yeah, but you still need the corresponding angles to make it look the best it can. He at least needs a sprite showing his back

I mean he is made out of paper but there are 2d mods like earless by D00D64
so he's made of paper so he's 2D
And trust me its hard for me to do this I have to get the right sprite design

if you wanna go for a revival, i consider using a pixelater artstyle similar to how it was used with the SRB2K version of the character
