𝓼𝓲𝓰𝓶𝓪 Level Design Collab (ΣLDC) 1.3a

Found some issues I found, some of them are probably already aware, but im still showing them either way.

- Hydroskim:
srb20038.png

Software only.

- Greenflower Beach:
srb20039.png

Software only, but it still looks odd in OpenGL, since you can see parts of the sky when you shouldn't be able to.

- Shattered Sanctuary:
srb20043.png
srb20044.png

Missing texture on the top of those pillars, and some unpegged midtextures.

- Sigma Station:
srb20045.png
srb20046.png

Software glitches, and if playing on multiplayer, this elevator doesn't get back down, so other players can get stuck there.

Goma it is Not my fault polyobjects in software suck fix your game!!!
PS: the elevator goes down

Hey! I made Shattered Sanctuary Zone. Thanks a ton for reporting these issues, I didn't take into account the fact that somebody could actually get up there (my bad!), but don't worry. I'll patch these quickly, and hopefully, it should be better next update!

I should probably answer in a serious way

- Not the maker of Hydroskim, but it's most likely made for OpenGL.

- The map has missing textures at the end lol

- already talked

- I've heard software texture clipping sux, so that's why I think
It goes down if you step on the other side

PS hi enes

hi, i woke up cause goma miscredited me for kalo frigo in the review 💔
Yep sorry wops, just noticed it, had to go through a lot of maps so of course I would end up making some mistake. I can't edit it so I think I will just delete it and update it with the correct name.

Thanks for looking into the issues. About Sigma Station, it does have a trigger indeed, but there's nothing for before entering the elevator, which means you can indeed get stuck by briefly entering the elevator then getting out, or dying before getting to the top of the elevator.

The missing texture on the outside is actually an unclosed sector, which should be fixed by hovering over the "phantom" sector and deleting it, turning that wall into a normal one-sided linedef.

Edit: About the polyobject, yeah it sucks right now, nothing much you can do about that issue in particular except making a smaller texture to fit that polyobject height.

You can get the emeralds in the shop, which of course you didn't see
Thats probably cuz it is set to Single Player only just like the Character Switch portal, which unfortunality was easy to miss cuz i dont play Single Player anymore (Since Unlockables are now possible in Multiplayer)

It sticks. All around terrible. A big waste of time. But just for your sick satisfaction here is a 100% screenshot so I can confidently say. YOU SUCK!

Matthew doesn't deserve proper grammar.
Matthew is bro’s number 1 OP now... Also, you can’t access his account anymore, it’s just directs to a "you don’t have permission to view this page or perform this action" so ye... OP’s already got matthew...

Probably made it Private
This is the exact moment I found out that you’re able to COMPLETELY cut off anyone’s ability to view your account, didn’t even knew that this was possible to do... ;v; (Not to pick sides but bro folded after the exact amount of pressure he himself delivered smh...)

Hi dude. I'm still new to mapping and I made Shattered Sanctuary. It's very rude to say that the mappack is terrible just because it's not on the level of some shit like the MRCE mappack or the vanilla game. Like, I put several weeks into designing SSZ as a traditional, sort of like, "vanilla"-esque map but I never had the time to learn lua or moving platforms or whatever, so there aren't any gimmicks. You've got to realize that aside from mine, most other maps were also jokes. The word "Sigma" is just being used in 2025 slang, and this mappack is supposed to reflect that. It was never serious.
Also, due to the strict deadline, maps like Kalo-Frigo were rushed and a lot of people who were going to add their maps eventually never did.
I personally had fun playing the other levels and designing SSZ, and it was quite insensitive of you to call the mappack "a waste of time" (also considering it takes literally one hour to beat, and in your case, 26 minutes) when it was never meant to be serious and the levels that were serious were rushed or made by people new to mapping.
Also, it's a bit hypocritical to say you don't like the mappack then 100% it. Whatever. At least, thanks for playing SSZ. That's good enough for me.

this is true, I was gonna submit for SLDC but the deadline was strict and I wanted to make an actual map, not a joke map like many others. but SLDC2 has a much better deadline so I hope I'll be able to finish my map in time and that there will be more good maps for it
