You can use Polyobjects, but their flats aren't rendered, making them look ugly if they're shown.
You can have appearing-and-disappearing FOFs combined with scrolling effects (like in ERZ), but it's very complicated and time-consuming.
Well, I've already done that with copying DSZ2's waterslide area, so that's known to me, but it still would require work that takes about 2 hours to do.
