I had a idea to make a museum wad. You can unlock different parts like Mystic Realm level list, comments, and other project information. You can also donate stuff to the museum. Can I make it so it can read gamedata files so you can unlock stuff by unlocking stuff in other wads??? But I am a noob at making wads so it may take a long time to make.
 
I can not even make a map yet. I am learning how to make a map by the guide. But the levels come out bad. And when get the main part done. People can donate stuff.

Please tell me any idea you have this wad. Like what texture I should use and what kind of stuff would you like to see in the museum wad.

A ugly fast drawing to help you make SRB2 museum. Most of the text is to show where is what part of the museum. If you step on that sector, you'll see text showing some history of SRB2/cheat engine/levels/character/level packs/mods/whatever. As you can see, You could use this drawing to help you make the level in doombuilder. Anyway, I think most of the textures should be arial garden textures. (Walls, ceiling, and floor.)
 
i think this is a really neat idea. People can donate most their most memorable level and donate most memorable character and also send a few betas and demo characters as well *cough *cough *next-gen ...
but seriously, this could be a good wad to test mods people made. But not going so far as to filling it with so much wads that will cause it to have a file size of 900mb. Only the great stuff should be included.
^_^ its a museum not a bag of crap.

for example: if mystic decides to participate, he should only send either his favorite level or his level thats he is most proud of, and same thing with furious fox and everyone else That way everyone can have a little something in the museum and the file size wont be so huge.
 
Is this like Sonic Jam or something? (least i think- i never actually played sonic jam myself. just read up on it).

Great idea though! SRB2 deserves its own museum anyway XD

I wanted to do that for SRB2tbe and chaoticdarkness as well, but those wads kinda have a mod effect, wich means they should be included in the SRB2mods section
 
I believe it is good but would you add some small sprites of characters to show what each of them look like for a gallery. I also would like a second floor. Either by teleporter or by stairs. I prefer stairs. It makes more room for the museum. Am I Right?
 
I have a room you can add in there It's Like a tribute to ALL the people of this message board or maybe a tribute to just me (just kidding or maybe not).
