Server problems!

Okay when I host I never get people on to advertise so i decide to join one. I go to options and make sure that internet is turned on to yes then I got to multimplayer join (server) and make sure it's internet. Then there is no server that shows up and I keep on pressing refresh but none ever comes up. Oh and the title about where the servers should show is called for some reason "Ping plays GT"..........Help!

Underneath Ping is the ping for that game. Plays is the number of players in the game, and GT is gametype. They are columns.
About your trouble connecting to the MS, I have no idea.
