For whatever reason, ever since the MS have been bugging out. (or something idfk.) My server won't show up on the Master Server. Before, it was showing without any issues. But now I can't even host since my server is not showing up on the MS at all. Any fixes?

Note: I checked my internet settings incase my port got removed. It haven't. Not only that, I have hosted before without any issues.

ive had the same issue, i asked in "talk to the staff" and i just got fully ignored
i was gonna do that but rather not. honestly i dont wantta hop on random servers and say "how did ur server show up while mine haven't ever since the ms was having issues"

i figured out how to get it to show up

set the master server adress to "https://ipv4.ms.srb2.org/MS/0"
it should show up like mine did

Probably because that's not what that board is for. That board is for reporting users and asking questions about the forum, not technical issues. Submit a bug report on this forum or on the Git.

Sound like CloudFlare is blocking access to Master Server API, due to the SRB2MB server move

see https://git.do.srb2.org/STJr/SRB2/-/merge_requests/2226
https://mb.srb2.org is now behind Cloudflare, and the Master Server API v1 can not be accessed for some users due to this change. so I setup a new dual stack DNS record for accessing to that API at a new URL

In the next version of SRB2, if are are still using https://mb.srb2.org/MS/0, and it be changed to https://ds.ms.srb2.org/MS/0 for you, and your server will report both your ipv4 and ipv6 address to the Master Server, so that players can find your server over both networks.

You can also use https://ipv4.ms.srb2.org/MS/0 or https://ipv4only.ms.srb2.org/MS/0 if IPv6 internet connection is broken.

Ok but what if you tried to use the new url, the ms still works, AND YET THE SERVER STILL ISNT LISTED (like in my case)
that's quite an issue no? (feeling like i need to add this but im not being rude)

Ok, then let do some troubleshooting

If you visit a website like https://test-ipv6.com/ do you get both ipv6 and ipv4, or just ipv4?
Do you also see the same address at https://ip4only.me/, https://ip6.me/, and https://ip6only.me/ ?

take note what of it list after "Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be ###.###.###.###"
and with "Your IPv6 address on the public Internet appears to be 2001:####:####:####:####:####:####:####"

Next, host a SRB2 game, and have it set to register on the Master Server

Then open PowerShell and run this command to as the MS what servers it knows about
see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/p...ew=powershell-5.1#running-powershell-commands

Running this command will give you back a list of all servers using the Standard room
((Invoke-WebRequest -UseBasicParsing -Uri "https://mb.srb2.org/MS/0/rooms/33/servers").Content) -split "\n"

Here is what I see
PowerShell output:
PS C:\Users\myusername> ((Invoke-WebRequest -UseBasicParsing -Uri "https://mb.srb2.org/MS/0/rooms/33/servers").Content) -split "\n"

Do you see the same ipv4 or ipv6 address that you got from https://test-ipv6.com/ ?

If not, please double check that you have your hosted game to be set by be listed on the Master Server

If you do see one (or both) IP addresses, next try looking at https://ms.srb2.org/

that website will take to the Master Server at https://mb.srb2.org/MS/0/, poke at each SRB2 net game listed, and try to tell you what kind of game it run at each listing

If your IP address shows up in PowerShell, but doesn't show up at https://ms.srb2.org/ then you need to check your router's port forwarding settings and or your computer firewall settings.

If you need help with port fortwarding, visit us at #srb2-troubleshooting room at
