Server help

I join my friends server "Gotta go faster" alot, but today I wasn't able to get in, it wouldn't show up on the list

Is your friend running the server on a computer that is directly connected to a router? If not then thats your problem.

no, don't connect the computer directly to the internet, find your router listed on this page, http://portforward.com/english/appl...onic_Robo_Blast_2/Sonic_Robo_Blast_2index.htm , and setup a port mapping for SRB2

Thing is that I was able to join before, he was using the same computer as before...and also alther people where joining his server (when I couldn't)

Does he have a dynamic IP? My IP address has been known to change time after time, so I have to change my forwards to that IP for my netgames to work.
