how do i make a script? hardly anyone makes one.

That's because all a script is is a series of console commands. You can't do much with that.

You can't create enemies with scripts, only SOCs.

Something like this:

name plowww
color gold
bind 1 "say Hi"

Basically a compiled set of console commands seperated because they're on new lines. It could even be something simpler and not as personalized like:

cam_height 96
cam_dist 192
analog on

..which would (hopefully) set you up with a control scheme SA-ish.

scripts are mostly easy

They're usally pretty easy, but lately my script files won't or can't be executed. I've checked them several times but they just won't work. My older script files work fine...

Really? I seen plenty of script files.

Examples: My WAD (skyserv-corefile.wad), The Mystic Realm (scr_mysticrealm20v2.wad), Jazz's script (forgot the wad name), etc...
