Well, i'm working on a Sprite replacement WAD, it's going to cover the Crawlas, Robo Fish, and All springs. I may or may not do other things, depending on the time.

I frankly don't like them. The spring looks out of place compared to Sonic & Co, and the fish colors just don't work.

I kinda like the fishy one personally, but I'll have to agree that the spring looks awful. It's too big for one thing, and I'm no expert on shading but to me it looks flat and boring.

Irony: The springs are actually the same size as the regular ones.

Nevertheless, point about the shading still stands. Try and smooth it out a bit for your next update, because it really doesn't lend a good sense of perspective when the colouring is so flat.

Your methods of shading are very flat. Shade them like spheres, not tokens.

I don't like much the Blue Crawla. The yellow and Blue don't quite go well for me.

Would grey and blue work better? I'm also taking Computer Graphics in HS, so i might improve a bit ^^
