Saving Problem

Hi, ive got a saving problem, it wont save automatically, ive finished the first boss and it saves there, but ive played up to the second boss and finished that and it still wont save, answers?

Did you modify the game in any way (add a WAD, run a SOC, activate a cheat, etc.) after it saved? Doing that would disable saving until you restart the game with no modifications.

No, I havent, ive finished the second boss multiple times and it still hasnt saved, Im going to take it out of program files because it might not be able to write there

Then just make a manuel save. Go to the Menu, go to Save Game, & continue from there. If that doesn't work, reply.

There is no manual save function in 2.0.

No, there is not. Did you put the files onto a CD-R temporarily or something along those lines? Frequently when you put data onto a read-only storage it checks the read-only flag, even after you copy it onto another computer's hard drive.

No, the only thing ive done to it is move it from program files to documents, I did copy it onto a pendrive for multiplayer but that was copying, not moving

The whole SRB2 folder or just the save files? Because if the save files are not in the SRB2 folder, the program obviously won't find them.
