whenever I edit the skin like runonwater waterskip etc. whenever I test it in srb2 in 5seconds a error pops up and gets me outof srb2! WHAT THE HECK!!!

Make sure your falling and tailspickup sprites have lower-case a and b at the end of their names rather than upper-case A and B. If you can't get them to stay lowercase, XWE has an option to allow lower-case lump names.

I've just found out that whenever I modify a wad using xwe it turns the wad into a bak file.

It doesn't turn the WAD into a BAK file. The BAK file is a backup of your WAD file. The WAD file is still available.

Yes. Save it as a WAD when editing it.

no, as long as the extension is there, rename the file's extension to the Proper Type. (Be careful when doing this though, changing to the Wrong extension could corrupt the file, no patter what type {like changing a BMP to A Wad.}
