Runtime error

[Gen]

I get this error whenever I try to do anything in the soc editor.
I have googled for answers But they told me to re-extract it, I tried it but it didn't work.

You didn't point the program to SRB2's source code. The source code should come with SRB2 in a self-extracting archive. Extract the code somewhere on your hard drive. Then, in the left column of SOCEdit, navigate to the "src" folder inside the source code.
