What the **** is wrong with RP and hangout servers?
They didn't do anything wrong, yet SSNTAILS Automatically thinks "They are gonna make SRB2 have full of noobs". My opinion on this is SSNTails give it a god *** try.

Everyone likes to hang out on cool designed servers.

But noo..What the **** do you think SA City is? ITS A HANGOUT LEVEL. JTE technically broke the rules, i see people hosting it all the time, btw theirs a 2 player requirement to even play (Which is easily bypassed)

I say to all you peopel "Give it a chance"

(Btw all that **** was me using them myself not, an admin editing it for flamnig)

Just to add, SSNTails doesn't manage anything about SRB2 online play other than coding it.

RP and hangout servers are only banned from the master server. You are permitted to have RP and Hangout servers, but you may not advertise your game. The master server's purpose is for those who wish to play the game the way it is meant to be played. By all means, go to the IRC and set up an RP game there. KTHNX.

Two things.

1. SSN has nothing to do with the Master Server rules.

2. The Master Server is a private box, Logan and Alam are perfectly allowed to disallow anyone they choose from using it. They have chosen to disallow anyone who breaks the Master Server rules.

If you want to RP or Hangout, just don't use the Master Server. It's as easy as that.

First and foremost, SSNTais does NOT run the master server. Logan does. Second, SRB2 is NOT built for role-playing games. It's built for the game modes it features, and nothing more.

SA-City is NOT a hangout level. It's designed for use with the SRB2JTE EXE, and is not meant to be used as a hangout game. It's been wholly misconstrued as a hang out file. Don't get the idea into your head that it is.

And, lastly, You can host RP games. Just don't advertise. You don't like this simple rule? Two suggestions:
1) Make your own Master Server and allow them with that, or,
2) Shut the hell up. No one cares. In fact, a lot of people here are glad for the rule. The rule is there because a lot of people (including myself) complained about them. SRB2 is built for Co-Op, Race, Tag, Match, CTF, and Hide and Seek, using Tag mode. Don't like these limitations? Go play PSO. RP to your heart's content. Because SRB2 is NOT built for it. Now, stop whining about the restriction. It's not going to change.
