Ring Racers Crashing

Whenever I start up Ring Racers, I'm able to play the game for a solid two minutes before the WHOLE THING FREEZES, literally locking my entire computer and rendering every key practically useless except the power button. When this happens, I need to do a hard reset of my computer. How do i solve this problem? And yes, the physical indicators on my Caps and Function keys do light up, even while it's frozen.

Just any details at all, what OS you have, what type of PC it is, the specs, etc.
