Ring Animations in SOC

I had my WAD mostly finished for a month or two by now, but I updated my SRB2 to the newest version and my ring objects were broken.

The console showed something along the lines of "State not found: 'S_RING1'"

I had a custom animation so the rings used less frames to animate. Is the ring state different on the newest version? It's frustrating having this happen right as I'm about to finish it.
 
Thank you so much! Just had to change it to S_RING and easily re-initialize the later states.
Is there any specific reason for the change?
 
2.1.15 added the FF_ANIMATE flag for frames, which allows to make a frame cycle without using a billion states anymore, so the ring states were all merged into a single S_RING state. I think same goes for most animated static objects either way.
 
Not a lot of such objects were affected actually.

As far as I've gathered, these are the only objects with states that use FF_ANIMATE now:

Rings (obviously) + Team Rings
Special Stage Tokens
Star Posts
Invincibility Sparkles
Weapon Ring Ammo/Panels
Rocks from destroying bustable blocks/falling rock spawners
