Revival of the Old Bosses REVIVED

With permission from roboegg99, I'm going to recreate his "Revival of the Old Bosses" So far I've made a newer, better Lava Reef, testing with Sand Temple, and a new Zone is being added. Theres also going to be a new character, although he has not been made yet. Screenies:

Story by roboegg99, improved on by myself:

"After his last attempt to conquer the world, Eggman
considers giving up. He starts thinking of his older machines he made when he thinks of an idea. He puts his robots to work, and soon he has exact replicas of his old machines.

"Muahahaha, now I will send them out to the city, and..." He pauses. Who's going to control these machines anyways, he thinks.

Meanwhile, Sonic is resting in Station Square, when suddenly Eggman appears in his Egg Carrier. "Whats he up to this time?" Sonic groans. He notices Eggmans old machines. "Great, another attempt to try to destroy me with his outdated pieces of junk". Suddenly he notices one Eggman controlling each machine. "How the..." Sonic wonders, but before he finishes his sentence, Eggman appears. "Muahahaha! You will never be able to defeat me this time! Now I've created Many clones of myself to help make sure you're put to rest!" Eggman laughs diabolically as Sonic stands there groaning. "Great, I didn't even get to finish off my tan"[/url]
 
It isn't ready for a download yet, it's got some bugs to iron out, thats why its in EDITING, not releases.
 
First of all, get rid of the story thingy, it's way to lame

Also...umm...is Eggy small or is it just me?
 
Tell you what, I'll give out a release once I get the Bomb and Scouter(by Morph) Working in Sand Temple Zone. (It locks up the game once you enter the room.)

EDIT: Eggman looks smaller because hes stuck in the background, due to bad soccing on roboegg99s part.

Well maybe you should look into robo's soc and mine. It might be possible that he used some freestates or slots I had used too, so that the objects are messed up.

Well... that sounds not very nice. Anyway, if you are working on this project now, you should fix it.
Also I don't think it is a soccing problem, but a leveldesign problem. If there is too much space in the background and you let an object make 3d movements (like skullattack), it is logic that it will leave the 2d plane used for the level from time to time.
 
I'm not exactly that good of a soccer, even when I looked at the wiki, so i don't know what the problem is. If you want, Morph, I could send it to you and you could have a looksie to see the problem.

EDIT: Also, sorry about saying that about the soc. It just bugs up alot.
 
Meh, I don't even need it right now... I'll just wait till later. Release on top post.

Known Issues:

-Each boss has the same sprites. Should be fixed by 2.0.
-Sand Temple still very easy.
-All zones (except Sand Temple and Fire Highway) are incompleteable.
-Yes, I know Fire Highway is short, don't bug me about it.
-If you want a preview of the levels coming, go to level select.
 
I tried that once, still wouldn't work.

The soc is in there for people who want to see whats wrong with it, because I don't see anything.
 
Problems:

1) Your Eggman Signs are broken.
2) Levels are avalible on level select that arn't avalable in the wad.
3) The sand level's spaces are too open.
4) Most levels are in 2d mode, and the physics are fail.
5) Skullattack is used in 2d mode.
6) The missles are disstructable.
7) More bosses than levels.
8) Deathpits should have been used in some places that they weren't.
9) Everything is ugly.
10) No pictures were added in level select.
11) All the levels seem to play the same.

-Make some 3D bosses with fixed camera and analog. Also, remove some stages.



This mod sounds so pathetic. I'll bet you'd be better off starting from scratch. And if you need help SOCing so baddly, I'll make you a boss (and 2 levels.)
