Replacing Fang Boss

Does anyone know how to replace the sprites in the Fang boss? I've tried replacing them manually in SLADE but it doesn't seem to work.

Ok I figured out how to do it, but the sprite I'm trying to replace it with is Sonic's so it's green. Does anyone know how to recolor it without doing it manually?

Look up "list of skin colors" on the Wiki, search for the color that you want, select all the sprites (in Slade), click "Colour Remap" and fill in every color in the place of the greens in here. Click OK. Save.
That's the way I use, at least.
