You clearly have no idea how long character wads take. It can take ages even for a simple sprites rip. Getting it the right size, non-pixely, right pallette...SAKnux taken ages to rip, recolour and resize. (Not to sure about the last one...)

I don't think they used the 3d model from the pc game.

They did....and SAKnux's size WAS huge! but now it's not, minus the shading.
