Is it possible to make Recolors the other way without using MS Paint?

I'm trying to make a recolor which I won't release at this Messageboard.

Here's a quick pic of it:

Noobish Recolor it may be.
I'm just beginning to Character Wad and trying to recolor using MS Paint.
It's was past 3 hours and I only finished 21 sprites and only have at least 116 sprites or more left to go.

Unless you can program some Hyper Mysterious Wad Recolourer in C, I doubt there is.

You could get a specialised spriting program, I guess.

Of course there's no "easy" way to recolor. If there was, then we'd get thousands of crappy ones.

This way, alot of the n00bs give up before they finish :P

Happier boards. More people despise lazy recolors than enjoy them. (As if there's anything to enjoy >_>)

Anyways, Nick, a crappy partial-color edit like that could be achieved by a simple S_Skin mod, provided that one of the two colors is green. But if you really want to play as that character in SRB2, I recommend "skin Sonic; Color red" It's not EXACT, but at least it dosen't look like crap.

No comment on the amount of people that use SMS in netgames :< (Do guests count as part of the board? XD)

But we do anyway! :P

Yes, but it forces some effort out of people. Therefore, there aren't as many, because people don't want to do that much work, and the people who start don't generally finish.
