Realm of the Mad God is a MMO Action RPG with the gameplay elements of a bullet hell game. The basic goal of the game is to defeat the various gods of the realm before taking on the Mad God, Oryx. The gameplay is isometric, similar to MMO's such as Runescape, but the gameplay is much more action-oriented, having you constantly needing to dodge the attacks various enemies can use to kill you. The game also has classes, ranging from the regular Wizard, Archer, and Warrior to more specialized roles such as a Preist or Necromancer. Enemies, as expected in this kind of game, drop loot and weapons for you to upgrade your character with or to store for later in your vault.
Now, an interesting part of the game is that it has a permadeath feature. Once your character dies, you lose everything that's not stored in your vault. The good thing, though, is that after one character dies, you're free to make another. The game also has a bit more of an emphasis on playing in groups, having every player in a group gain experience from a defeated enemy, as opposed to having one person hog all of it.
Another great feature is that, while the game has microtransactions, you can get pretty much everything in the game without buying anything. There's no sort of "Buy to Win" in this game, with the items you are able to buy giving the player little to no advantage (Although, buying more vault space is advisable at times).
I found this game to be extremely addicting. The gameplay is fast-paced, and it's nothing that you can simply tank through while taking tons of damage. Playing in groups is especially fun, with the only problem being you might not get much of the action or the loot from it. Also, you will die a lot.

Anyways, I'd suggest that you at least give this game a try.
