The Custom Engine Sounds (CES) Update!

Nothing really changed, just that there's now an alternative version of the main download called
DC[B]L[/B]_RandomRacers[B]CES[/B]-v3.pk3.
  • This special file contains Lua scripts that change everyone's engine noises from the default class E engine noise to some custom-made engine noises I made using Audacity and LMMS.
  • Everyone in the mod (except for Shifty AJAYMAY Spiral, because I don't know if the LUA used for this special file...

And hey-who knows? Maybe two more characters will enter the fray!

P.S. Hm... I never did get to making all of the character's shirts the same gradient color the NEALYTELEVISION characters had... oh well,

That's not it at all. From what I remember, SRB2Kart's Battle mode would pick some player(s) who performed exceptionally well, and would have them temporarily listed as Wanted. Attacking someone who's Wanted would give more points than usual.

So something similar to the modern Ring Racers battle mode system, but randomized?

Custom Engine Sound Hotfix

Re-added AJAYMAY, SPIRAL, and BADDIE's custom engine sounds and their respective engine folders in the sounds folder, after v3.2 accidentally had them disappear.

Nothing else really, stay tuned for the next big update!


P.S. Shifty AJAYMAY Spiral had something he wanted to say, but he's not comfortable saying it right now... I wonder what's up with him?

Uh... sure (I think it's open assets, I'm not completely sure) I'd recommend making your own engine noises btw

The early first anniversary devlog

So, my first proper Ring Racers mod, RandomRacers, turns one year old over on the SRB2 MB tomorrow. So here's some stuff you'll find in the anniversary update coming soon on the 11th:

  • TWO new custom colors, BlueMeister (NEALYTELEVISION BLUE) and PinkMeister (AJAYMAY PINK)
  • Fixed Custom Engine Sounds variant, where everyone now has better engine noises
  • Shifty Spiral will no longer show Heavy Magician's "Box-o-Shifting" every time Shifty transforms...
