I decided to release one of my first race levels based on the Radiant emerald zone from sonic r. I tried to keep the map layout as close to sonic r's with still adding my own features into it at the same time (trust me that was the hard part). I also made this level to be designed for full race and also made it tails and knuckles friendly by adding shortcuts designed so only they can take it, also making it so you can't skip half of the level by spreading out the starpost's a bit more.

Please give me any ideas to make this better.

Well, first off: the level is rather flat. I can easily see it turning into a thokfest, as there is not many obstacles. Unless you count that turret to be an obstacle (which sonic can easily outrun). Also, there's an excess of rings, and not enough places where you can lose them. The disadvantages that players face when using tails and knuckles are doubled, if not tripled. What was good: The level was overall very clean (No glitches, a thok barrier, floating rings). You obviously know how to make a level without complications.

What I would do to improve the level: Put more scenery and obstacles. It's funner to run around a pretty looking level, than a rather flat one with no scenery. I would also think about doing some major sector placement changes. It's tricky, but try to have knuckles and tails somewhat of an advantage throughout the level (to stop them dirty thokkers). Personally, I would put some simple temple structures throughout the level. Example: Mystic temples. Also, some platforming would be nice, but that's up to you. A patch of grass here and there wouldn't be bad either... If this level is completely based on an other, I would suggest not to. Even the wiki says that if something is good in one game, it might not be necessarily good in an other.

Its the layout i just need info on right now as i just need to set up some FOF's here and there. Basicly this is an alpha test

So basicly you are doing the layout first, and then the obstacles? I will test it out and post a reveiw later*school pc*
