When I went to recompile r_opengl.dll as a441 suggested so I could set SRB2 to my desktop resolution of 1152x864 it said it was missing the library file "fmodvc.lib". I couldn't find the library file anywhere so I decided to remove it from the project and compile again to see if maybe it was an unnecessary file. Turns out it was completely unnecessary. The DLL compiled fine and works perfectly with SRB2 v1.08. In fact, the resulting DLL file is 12 Kb smaller than the one provided with SRB2. (60 instead of 72.)

But now I'm happy I can run SRB2 with multiplayer AND in 1152x864 :)

(1152x864 is special for my system because it is the highest resolution my monitor can reach without dropping to a refresh rate of 60, which bothers my eyes.)

That's interesting, I have no idea why fmodvc.lib was linking with r_opengl (not my doing). I didn't notice because it's needed to build SRB2 itself, so it was already around.

FMOD is a sound library. (And a crappy one at that.)

BASS is no better in license terms, it would still be illegal to use it with SRB2.
