I was told when I asked why SOCedit kept freezing to use notepad instead.


Now here is my question. I tried making a simple SOC using notepad, and it failed terribly. How am I supposed to know what values to put in for things like Spritenumber, next frame, Frame number, stuff like that?

Is it just memorization?

Because SOCedit is a WHOLE lot easier to use than notepad IMO...

You don't memorize them, you open you SOCedit simultaneously and look up all the numbers you need. Alternatively, you can use these.
