Wierd, but it seems as though some aspects of gameplay are random. Try playing the demo a few times, when I did it, the first time he jumped right into the river and ran into a few walls, the second time he ran into the wall just before the spikes as you said, the third time he finished the level.

Would you compete if SRB2 was a game competed in at TSC?

I'd give it a go, I suppose.

I'd have to see how tough the competition was.

This game shouldn't be available to compete in at TSC.
