Question about time zones in this forum

I noticed that I can set the time zone in my profile, however, it goes by relation to GMT. GMT is standard, but it never changes.

I'm in EST right now (GMT -5) but I have daylight savings time from the spring-fall.

Will the board "know" to correct this, or will I have to change it to GMT -4 in the spring?

I also like how it has GMT -3.5...I think that's for that weird place in Canada where their time zone is on the half hour.

...well, except for that one time, but luckily my priest had some Balm of Life, Return Life level 3, and the spell energy to cast it.
