Question about editing vanilla characters using mods.

How do I edit vanilla SRB2 characters via mods and SOC? Im currently porting SA-SRB2 to 2.2 (as you may or may not know, check here for smth about it: https://mb.srb2.org/threads/sa-srb2-for-2-2-wip-thread.38286/#post-600346) and im trying to edit the character selection screen stuff.
