Like you did with the purple rings counter on the HUD, you could use palette translations

I was the one who added the translations to the HUD.

Anyways, I was trying out some adjustments to the skincolors, including an edit of yours. They aren't final though.

changelog:

• changed white to yellow on cosmic clones to better resemble the original counterpart
  • also works on the multiplayer skin colors; the galaxy 1 palette turns all white to blue
• fixed followmobj not using the same effects as the main body
