PS4 Controller Problems

I recently got a new computer and decided to download SRB2 to play with friends but couldn't since it wouldn't let me set my PS4 controller L2 and R2 buttons on the customs. I had everything set up before I got to this problem. I tried messing with the files, axies, and friends but it still wouldn't work. Would be nice to have some help.

You cannot map triggers to inputs in that menu, you can only map them to actions in the Gamepad Options menu.

Go to the Gamepad Options menu and fiddle with the options. You can only map triggers (called rudders in that menu) to a few options. You cannot map them to any input you want.
