Private Servers and FFXI

Do they exist? I know that WoW ones exist, but are there FFXI ones?

Probably, like most MMO's, the uncommon ones usually do have private servers. Running a simple google search will answer your question.

Tried it. There are whispers here and there, but I couldn't find a link I considered reputable. (999999 XP! ZOMG! HOW CAN U NAWT JOIN! Yeah, that's not gonna be spyware/virus/annoying)

I haven't talked with the other admins and mods about this, so they may disagree, but as far as I'm concerned, discussion on locating private servers for MMORPGs is toeing the line with breaking Rule 1, as most private servers are for pay-to-play games, which is similar in theory to playing ROMs for free. Only for games that are already free from the get-go do I have no problem with this.

Just throwing that out there.
