OLDC is about making good levels
PPLDC, on the other hand, is about making unholy atrocities that will make god disappointed in what we have done as a species







FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY

The rules are simple

• You have to create one level and submit it here.
• Your level can be a solo or group project, it doesn't matter!
• Your level must be either terrible, or funny. Maybe even both!
• You can make your level by any means necessary! This includes custom graphics, sprites, objects, lua, soc, etc.
• However, if your level uses custom assets, make sure they can't be overwritten by any other entry.
• On top of that, if you're using a lua script, make sure it doesn't interfere with other lua scripts by using a MapLoad hook.
• Also, any music file you use must be under 3MB in size.
• Even if it's by awful and terrible means, your level must be beatable by all vanilla characters. Deliberately impossible to complete levels will be disqualified.
• Levels that are just a bunch of sectors with crawlaspam will be disqualified. Put effort into your terribleness!
• Levels that assault the senses will be disqualified. This includes, but is not limited to: flashing colors, loud sounds/earrape, and unfunny memes. Get outta here, Santiago!
• Levels that purposefully crash the game or fuck with people's cfg will be disqualified.
• Levels that contain NSFW, risque/sexual content, shock images, or other yikes images/content will not only be disqualified, but the user that created it will also be reported to the mods.

Ribbons will be handed out for the levels that go below and beyond and are special, winners will be announced when the pack is compiled and posted on the MB.

PANIC'S AWARD:
For levels that are the most confusing a/or mindnumbing.

ROFLMFOA'S AWARD:
For levels that are the most funny a/or humorous.

NIPPLE'S AWARD:
For levels that are the most frustrating a/or annoying to play.

You have one week to do this! This means the deadline will be on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 11:59PM EST. I can accept late submissions, but only up until roughly 5AM the day after.

By submitting your level to the PPLDC, you are granting us permission to edit your level, port it to future SRB2 versions, remove inappropriate content, make minor fixes, etc.

Awesome, the OLDC releasing made me want to map, and I liked PANIC a lot so it's fun to see a pack with a similar spirit. I'm going to try to make a "cool" map.

By the way, I have a question. I started my level when it said sonic only, so the part I made is built only for Sonic, and Sonic’s thok is pretty much needed to beat the level. Would it be ok to replace everyone's ability with the thok when the map loads and change it back if when they complete the level? Also, for balance purposes, will the players have infinite lives or a limited amount?

I'm looking forward to seeing what abominations people come up with lol :)

I suggest that you don't just replace the player's ability with the Thok - you gotta set their actionspd to 60 as well, to match Sonic's because if you don't:

• Tails will be OP (100 FU thok)
• Fang will be slightly below average (50 FU thok - 10 FU difference)
• Knux is s//t (25 FU thok)
• Amy is impossible mode (5 FU thok )
