Possum Problems

Well, lately, in my backyard, a possum has been showing up during the night. I don't find it as scary or disgusting as the rest of my family does, but I still want it out, only because my dog goes into the backyard at night, and I don't think a chihuahua can kill a possum in a fight.

Usually it just stands there on the fence, so I can go right next to it and it'll do nothing. The hose doesn't work, it just stays there while I hose it (Unless I put a REALLY powerful force, knocking the poor thing down.)

So I was just wondering, any way to get rid of a possum? I don't want to kill it.

It really isn't that big a deal. We had a racoon out back of our house once. It just runs around looking for food for a few weeks, then goes away. Not worth worrying about. Unless it's rabid. But if it was, it'd be swaggering around back there.

Get hold of a few injector darts and a bit of sedative, aim for its arm.

I only want it out because of my dog. I don't want the possum to kill it or hurt it. If I didn't have my dog, I actually wouldn't mind.

You know chihuahua's have quite alot more fighting power than you think. Most creatures find them quite thretening. In fact I have 3 chihuahua's and there are alot of possems out here where I live. Lol I've seen the smallest one run off a racoon once. I didn't want him too though. You should have seen him when he bit that things tail. XD

What? You don't like possums?
I've got a possum that comes over to my hose every night, it's EXTREMELY tame, you can hand feed him, pat him, pull his whiskers etc. I called him Dog, because I want another dog, but my Dad can't be bothered getting one...
Anyways, if you want to help get rid of it, you should ensure that there are no traces of food outside before you go to bed, or call one of those wildlife agency things.

YAY RABIES!

But in all seriousness, there's nothing quite like possum chicken.
I love possum chicken.
