Pony Obsession...?

Lately I have seen a lot of pony avatars and a lot of Pony talk.

So, I made this thread because I want to know why people started to like pony avatars and stuff like that so suddenly.

Because it's kinda weird.

So tell me your thoughts about this.

This happens to have been a question that has been answered several times in the My Little Pony thread on the Television and Movies sub-board.

But in summary, the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has developed such a large fan following because it is a very good cartoon. Perhaps it is a result of the drought of fantastic children cartoons on television coming from the Western world as of late, or people in shock because of the success coming from what was previously accepted as a terrible franchise, but the fanbase grew to exceptional heights very quickly.

Aparrently, according to the powers that be, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is way better than all the other shit on TV, which is probably true, people want to enjoy this cartoon as it may be the only good cartoon ever.
