Plr file error.... T.T

Ok so, my problem is that one day when I was extremely bored, I decided to customize my plr files. As I looked at them, I saw that they open with nothing so I adjust it so that it would open with XWE but instead all of the plr file things changed to an XWE file?!?! Someone help me out here.

I know it still works, but it didn't change the icon and also I am unable to change the file to anything else (.WAD). =O

You really shouldn't be changing or editing the plr files anyway. Why would you change it to .wad?
