Ploblem With Starting SRB2 2.2.8

I having a ploblem with starting the new version of SRB2,when i try to start the game,a error appears saying that the game cannot start correctly,they error does not say the reason why the game does not start

Try to reinstall the game and don't forget to make a copy of your gamedata.dat and srb2savXX files (XX means the number of the save file) in case you want to save your progress.
