I already read STARS (so don't ask)and I also asked some people for help, but they could'nt help me. I need some help about IP adresses. When I try to join by IP, i typed down the IP address and hit enter but nothing happens for some reason. My connection is broadband and i use AOL, is this a problem? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I don't know, can someone please help me?

for the future... dont use AOL... unless its your only way to connect to the internet...

and when your joining a netgame... it depends on the other person...
for example... they can either:
not have thier firewall unblocked
not have thier ports forwarded

its not your joining problems... its thier Open port problems...

Also, if they aren't using port 5029, you have to put in the port as well... :| Or something dumb like that. You can't connect if you're not trying to connect to the right port, it seems. I like to use the "connect" console command instead of the menu, personally...
