Playing multiplayer.

I cant find any instructions on the game, you guys should seriously post some on the site.
Anyway, I wanted to know:
How do you choose your character in the multiplayer and what do you press to talk?

is it like talk: dsgsdsd?

Oh and also, how to change your name, it displays my moms name because im on her computer (way faster then mine).

Press the Esc key, go to options, and go to set up player to change your name and player during a net game.
