The music should be compressed? It's all in .ogg format, but I don't know if there's multiple ways that that can be compressed or which method Audacity's .ogg export uses. At the very least, I tried to compress it.
As for Battlemod support, yes, I was intending to add it eventually! It almost definitely won't be the next update, and I can't guarantee it'll be any time soon, but it is my intention to do something with that eventually. First, I'd have to see what would need to change for it - I don't play Battlemod that often, since I can't get private online multiplayer to work, which makes it hard to get a good sense of how to balance my own mods for it. I know he should already at least not be completely horrible to fight against, since Thunder's RadiusAttack spoof specifically can't hurt players (since trying to do so crashes the game, for some reason), and Double Team being spammable was already a problem I had to solve in the singleplayer campaign.
This mods pretty cool, also LOL i tested him in BM (i do it with any char mods that release) and he's fun there too

this mod is freaking epic and i decided to come here to list potential ideas you can do with it that i just think be neat (this is just pure speculation for the sake of fun and i do not expect this to be even heard, alot of this sounds like it be hard to do and i haven't the slighest idea for coding)

super form concept: okay so rather than giving pikachu a super form i think it be far cooler if he could actually summon a buddy using the emeralds, that he then jumps on and rides around for the ring duration, for example he summons a charizard who he jumps on the lil head and starts flying around on, or include the other 2 kanto starters final evos and he can pick between which 3 he wants to partner up with.
other concepts such as adding a boost state being quick attack, when the lil guy gets going at a certain speed he goes into a quick attack state where his speed is doubled and he could plow through enemies. but once he does an attack he loses it.
other idea i had is with the magnetic and electric shield, i kinda notice how the magnetic shield looks like a light ball (Which, in the game, doubles pikachu's speed and attacks) so what if when he is equipped with either variant of the electric shield, his speed is doubled and the radius of thunderbolt is doubled, and the duration of volt tackle is longer? Allows him to sorta have more unique interactions with the shield abilities.
this last one is miniscule but fun, in mp, let pikachu jump on other players and ride around on them, similar to elfilin, there doesn't even need to be a benefit, i think it's just silly and fun lmao and fits with how pikachu has a tendency to jump on their trainer's shoulder or how pikachu rides ash's hat in the anime
anyway that's all i have, just a lil fun speculation is all.
@PikaJade One change I would recommend is for rings that get attracted to pikachu to be removed, and then spawn flingrings in its place.
Otherwise you can attract rings, and trick them into floating to the skybox. those rings will then never respawn in that spot until the map is changed.
Changing them to flingrings once attraction starts will solve this issue, allowing the ring to respawn even if it gets launched away. Fling rings also have gravity so you won't get flying rings that way.
This is mostly a multiplayer things, but I hope you can add it to your list of potential patches!
Well, seems like the most beloved Pokemon made it into SRB2 2.2, along with Eevee, i can honestly remember there where 2 Pokemon Characters for 2.1, which it was a Sylveon and a Weavile.
Thought I was done fixing bugs, but then I saw a video someone made showcasing this mod, and I realized how foolhardy, how naïve I truly was. It is not a programmer's place to be "done."
Autobrake no longer interrupts Double Team
Attracted rings no longer fly off into the skybox forever - instead, regular rings will gain gravity, and team rings will keep following Pikachu until he collects them

While I'm here, there's a little detail in this mod that bugs me to no end whenever I think about it, and I think I need to get this off my chest. (Not to worry, it's nothing actually serious.)
So. You know how all of the sounds from this mod are from Pokémon Black & White? The voice clips are from all over, sure, but all of the regular gameplay sound effects (the ones you still hear after turning voice clips off) are cobbled together from various moves from that game.
Right?
Wrong.
Like, mostly right, but just wrong enough to be annoying. Because there is one sound effect I needed, but couldn't find. And it's quite possibly the most important one:
The jump sound.
I swear, I looked as hard as I could, but the only rips of the sounds from Pokémon games from Diamond & Pearl onward are the cries of the Pokémon and the moves they use. Hell, for the Switch games, we don't even have the move sound effects. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are still waiting to be approved on the Sounds Resource, 3 years after that game launched. It's dire out there.
Seeing that there were seemingly no rips of the one specific sound I needed anywhere on the incomprehensibly massive internet, I tried to take matters into my own hands.
Keyword: tried.
I looked through the files twice over, listening through every sound in the game. I couldn't find it. I had to look up a walkthrough of the game to make sure the sound I was looking for existed. There were a few sound effects that the program I was using couldn't seem to play, so it must have been one of those.
I couldn't find it on the web or in the game itself. Eventually, I gave up and just used the one from the GameBoy Advance games. That's what's in the mod now. It's similar to what I was looking for, but it's audibly different (with the primary difference being a lower pitch). Now every time I play my own mod, I have to hear the mocking "bweep" of my own failures every time I press Jump. And so do you.

i mean ima be honest, I DOUBT there's a chance for someone who is both a fan of missingno AND has the skills (+ experience) in srb2 mod making for this to become a reality ngl
Great mod, but a quick note is that he doesn't have any way to gain momentum down slopes, and the only way to go fast is Iron Tail, which I find myself spamming to no end. He even has XMomentum fail sprites, but doesn't actually gain momentum from said mod (that could just be XMomentum's fault, though, it hasn't been updated in a while.). A slide move or something would be great for his toolkit, even if it means breaking the 4 move rule.
