Permbanned (for the lulz)?

I saw that Ash was permbanned, and the reason was "for the lulz". Why is it for the lulz? What happened? I was gone when this happened.

I showed #srb2fun this. The staff therefore took preparations for the "plan", which included banning Ash. Ash explained afterwards that he was really just trying to create hype for his map; since he was banned from the MB, that plan failed.

Such ends another chapter in the SRB2 chronicles.
